Cleotilde Segura

Cleotilde “Coty” Segura, 87, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, February 16, 2013 in Laredo, Texas. Ms. Segura was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was very active in the community serving her church, volunteering, and helping those in need. Her strong work ethic came with a ready smile, very cheerful disposition and positive attitude. She will be forever remembered by all who knew and loved her. Ms. Segura is preceded in death by her parents, Doroteo Cortez and Gavina Briones de Cortez; and brothers, Estanislao Cortez, and Doroteo Cortez Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Maria E. (Juan Carlos) Montemayor, Linda Madrigal, Maria Guadalupe (Jesus) Flores, Emma (Juan) Leza; grandchildren, Sylvia Anne Montemayor, Leticia (Jesus D.) Guardiola, Araceli (David) Salas, Ana Laura (Michael) Urie, Kristie Marie Madrigal, Freddie Madrigal IV, Jesse (Shannon) Flores, Melissa (Jared) Johnson, Jaki (Zane) Milakovic, Becca Leza, Johnny Leza,; great-grandchildren, Ariel (Ociel) Saenz, Maria Antonia Salas, Alejandra “Mina” Salas, Michael W. Urie, Michael A. Johnson, Elizabeth M. Johnson, Matthew A. Johnson, Gabriel Johnson, and Gabriella M. Flores. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A rosary will be recited on Monday, February 18, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 8:45 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to St. Jude Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow to the family plot in at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
