Joe W. Kirkpatrick

Joe W. Kirkpatrick passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2013 in Laredo, Texas. Joe W. Kirkpatrick was born in Ivanhoe, Texas on December 31, 1921. A World War II Veteran, Joe served in the 36th Infantry Division, Reconnaissance Troops. He participated in the battles of Naples-Foggia, Rome Arno, Southern France, Rhineland, Central Europe and the invasions at Salerno and Anzio. Joe lived to be 91 years old and was fortunate enough to continue working at his leather company until his last days. Mr. Kirkpatrick is preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Kay Kirkpatrick. He is survived by his beloved wife, Cristina Kirkpatrick; daughter, Rachel Kirkpatrick, and sons and daughters-in-law, Michael (Malex) Kirkpatrick, Jason (Mandy) Kirkpatrick; grandchildren Mikey Kirkpatrick, Isa Kirkpatrick, and Little Joe Kirkpatrick, Jonathan and Emilia Kirkpatrick. A chapel service will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Hillside Funeral Home.
