Irma Benavides

Irma Benavides, 74, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Benavides was born in Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo for most of her life. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jose A. Benavides; parents, Pedro and Dora Mendoza. She is survived by her 7 children, Jose A. Benavides Jr., Luis A. (Lynne) Benavides, Irma I. Hernandez, Patricia E. (Joel) Loera, Jorge A. Benavides, Mario A. Benavides, Daniel (Esmeralda) Benavides; brothers and sisters, Alma Leticia (Tomas) Mendoza, Elma (Ricardo) Mendoza, Felicitas De Luna, Melly (Ramiro) Sepulveda, Dora (Leopoldo†) Moreno, Ramon (Diana) Mendoza, and Javier (Ramona) Mendoza. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A prayer service will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A chapel service will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. Committal Services and interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
