Baltazar “Balta” Hinojosa III Baltazar "Balta" Hinojosa III passed away Saturday June 1st, of leukemia at age 31. Balta was a brilliant musical composer, producer, and lyricist with boundless artistic talent who made his mark on the Mexican and American scenes. A true genius, Balta lived his life soulfully as Art - lovingly, selflessly, and joyfully celebrating each moment in laughter with his family and friends - transforming us all through the beauty of his presence. He leaves behind a legacy of music, memories, and love that will live on forever in the hearts and minds of all who knew him and are forever changed by his Art. He is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda Hinojosa-Hernandez; his beautiful sister, Renee; and his loving parents, Esther Vidal Hinojosa and Baltazar Hinojosa. A mass will be celebrated today, Monday June 3, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. in Divine Mercy Catholic Church. Services will conclude at the church.
