Paula Garcia Hernandez Paula Garcia Hernandez, 101, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013 in Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Hernandez is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jesus Gomez; son, Arturo Gomez; grandson, Gustavo; parents, Lino and Porfiria Garcia. She is survived by her daughter, Isabel Gomez; son, Adolfo (Angelina) Gomez; grandchildren, Isabel, Adolfo, Lourdes, Jesus, Arturo, Socorro, Javier, Jesus, Jessica, Rene, Maria, Jackie, Lisa; daughter-in-law, Socorro Gomez; close friends of the family, Jackie Roy and Reynaldo Valdez, RN, from ABC Home Health. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 8:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
