David Saldivar

David Saldivar Mr. David Saldivar, 58, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014 in Laredo, Texas. Mr. Saldivar enjoyed playing pool, listening to music, traveling, and fishing. Mr. Saldivar is preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe Saldivar and Rosa Lydia Saldivar; brothers, Jaime Saldivar, Juan Saldivar, and Guadalupe Saldivar Jr.; and his brother-in-law, Juan Hernandez. He is survived by his sons, David (Jessica) Saldivar Jr. and Juan D. (Valerie) Saldivar; daughter, Rosa S. (Alex) Saldivar; grandchildren, Dariana Saldivar, Samantha Saldivar, and Sophia Lozano. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Heriberto Saldivar, Rogelio (Laura) Saldivar, George Saldivar, Noe Saldivar, Ruben (Rosa) Saldivar, Estefana Hernandez, Lydia (Jesus) Hernandez, Linda (Dereck) Saldivar, Roxanna (Conrado) Valdez, and Melissa Saldivar as well as nephews, nieces, and other relatives. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Saldivar Jr., Juan D. Saldivar, Rogelio Saldivar, George Saldivar, Noe Saldivar, Ruben Saldivar, Juan Jose Medrano, and Conrado Valdez. Honorary pallbearer will be Heriberto Saldivar.
