Mrs. Gloria Morales Mrs. Gloria Morales, 69, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2014 in Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Morales was a retired school teacher, President of Sociedad de Cristo Rey for 6 years and Treasurer for 2 years. She was a member since 2002 and assisted as Auxiliary to the Laredo Medical Center. She served as President in Charge of Awards and Hours. She will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joaquin and Ana Maria Solis; sisters, Maria Elena Kock and Ana Maria Garcia; brother- in-laws, Javier Munoz and Bernando Bustamante. She is survived by her loving husband, Eloy Morales, Sr.; children, Beatriz Ana Morales, Eloy (Rebecca) Morales, Jr., and Daniel Eduardo Morales; her grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Lydia Bustamante, Joaquin (Juany) Solis, Jr., and Maricela Munoz; In-laws, David Garcia, Rodolfo (Carlota) Morales, Cesar (Elva) Morales, Rosalva (Lauro +) Garza, Rene (Yolanda) Morales and Sylvia (Humberto) Ramirez. Also surviving are numerous relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. by the Sociedad de Cristo Rey and the Catholic Daughters of America in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A second rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Christ the King Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Zapata County Cemetery in Zapata, Texas.
