Leticia E. Jasso Mrs. Leticia E. Jasso, 53, passed away on August 8, 2014 in Laredo, Texas. After a valiant fight with cancer, Leticia Jasso has entered into eternal life on August 8, 2014. Her strong will to live, unwavering faith in God and the love and prayers of family and friends carried her through numerous diagnosis and treatments these past three years. Lety was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, godmother, and friend. She loved holidays and family get-togethers; any chance to spend time with her family was important to her. She will always remain in our thoughts and forever in our hearts. Mrs. Jasso is preceded in death by her father, Refugio Valdez; mother, Lydia Leal; and stepfather, Francisco Cantu. She is survived by her husband, Armando Jasso; children, Alma (Arnoldo) Jasso Chavez, Armando (April) Jasso Jr., and Andres (Ruth) Jasso. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Andres Jasso Jr., Amanda Jasso, Andrew Jasso, Allie Jasso, and future baby Chavez; siblings, Ricardo Valdez, Alma Garcia, Mary Ann Springer, Esther Garza, Gerardo Valdez, and Jaime Cantu as well as numerous other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 9:00 p.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
