Vicente Ponce Vicente Ponce, 82, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 in Laredo, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fabian and Severita Ponce; siblings, Joaquin Ponce, Lucio Ponce, Agustina (Raul) Pena, Brigido Gonzalez; infant children, Guadalupe, Juan, and Matias Ponce; brother in law, Jose Tito Vela. He is survived by his sisters, San Juanita Ponce and Filomena P. Vela; sisters in law, Arcadia Ponce, Josefina Gonzalez and numerous relatives including nieces and nephews. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
