Emilio Gomar Hernandez Mr. Emilio Gomar Hernandez passed away on May 25, 2015 in Austin, TX. at the age of 69. Emilio Gomar Hernandez was born on July 23, 1945 in Mexico City, Mexico. He was a resident and businessman in Laredo, TX for 31 years. He received the Lord at Christ Worship Center where he was ordained and ministered to the sick, imprisoned, and poor. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be missed for his love to his family, dedication to work and passion for life. Mr. Gomar Hernandez is preceded in death by his parents, Emilio Gomar Salas and Elena Hernandez de Gomar; and sister, Lourdes Gomar Hernandez. He is survived by his wife, Anita Maria Carolina Horak de Gomar; daughters, Ida Caroline Suzanne (Joel) Trunick of Austin, TX, Erna Edelweiss (Michael) Hooks of Austin, TX; and son, Irving Carlos Emilio (Sarah) Gomar of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Victoria, Vianna, Allyson, Joshua, and Matthieu. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Services will conclude after the visitation.
