Mr. Ismael Medina Mr. Ismael Medina, 53 passed away on August 13, 2015, in Pennsylvania. Mr. Medina was born in Matador, Texas but was raised in Encinal, Texas. At the present time, he was a resident of Laredo, Texas. He is preceded in death by his brother, Rodrigo Ezequiel Medina. Mr. Medina is survived by his loving wife, Melissa Tovar Medina; his daughters, Nancy (Fred) Maldonado of Laredo, Amanda (Armando) Calderon of Houston, and Violeta (Oziel) Valencia of Austin; parents, Rodrigo and Elida Medina of Encinal; his sister, Nora Gonzalez, sons , Jose (Rita) Guzman and William Hernandez; 5 grandchildren, 3 nieces, and 1 nephew. Also surviving are aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends. A Vigil will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel, 310 Hillside, Laredo Texas. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 9:00p.m. Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Encinal, Texas. Everyone attending is asked to meet at the church. Interment will follow in the Encinal Cemetery.
