Rodolfo Rodriguez Sr. Rodolfo Rodriguez Sr., has entered heavenly kingdom peacefully on Sunday, August 23, 2015, surrounded by his loved ones. Mr. Rodriguez is preceded in death by: his wife, Graciela Garcia Rodriguez; parents, Sixto (Maria Luisa) Rodriguez; brother and sister, Sixto Rodriguez, Alicia Iruegas. Born in Laredo Texas on November 29, 1932. He served in the military for 22 years. Mr. Rodriguez retired as a TSGT Airforce. He liked to contribute to various charitable organizations such as; Cancer Society, Legally Blind, St. Jude Hospital, and others. He is survived by his children, Rudy (Patricia) Rodriguez Jr., Eloy (San Juanita) Rodriguez, Rene (Elsa) Rodriguez, Maria Elma (David) Mastee; his grandchildren , Dina Mastee, Anna Mastee (Mario Lopez†), Erika Rodriguez, Nicole Rodriguez, Edwin Rodriguez, Jackie Rodriguez, Kathy Rodriguez, Kristeena Rodriguez, Rene Rodriguez II, Amanda Garcia; great-grandchildren, Ella Victoria Ortiz, Olivia Nicole Sanchez; his brothers and sisters, Dorotea (Antonio) Moctezuma Jr., Roberto (Socorro) Rodriguez, Jose Luis (Aurora) Rodriguez, Jesus (Magdalena†) Rodriguez, Hector (Isabella) Rodriguez, Teresa (Mario†) Gloria, Dolores (Richard) Camacho. Mr. Rodriguez is also survived by nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, and other relatives and friends. The Family would like to thank Dr. Ricardo Cigarroa and Staff, Dr. Tula and Staff, Laredo Medical Center 5th floor Staff, and Dr. Lopera for their professionalism and loving care. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Augustin Cathedral. Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be, Rudy Rodriguez, Eloy Rodriguez, Edwin Rodriguez, Hector Rodriguez, Rene Rodriguez and Rene Rodriguez III. Honorary Pallbearers: David Mastee, Jose Luis Rodriguez, Roberto Rodriguez, Jesus Rodriguez and Joe Menchaca. Interment will follow in the family plot of the City of Laredo Cemetery.
