Yolanda P. LaFleur

Mrs. Yolanda P. LaFleur gave up her soul to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on September 20, 2015. She was born in Laredo, Texas on November 29, 1928. She was 86 years old. Mrs. LaFleur resided in Houston, Texas for several years with her family. Upon her return to Laredo, she was employed by Mercy Regional Medical Center in the Medical Records Department. She rose to Assistant Supervisor of the Department. She retired from Mercy Regional Medical Records after 40 years of service. She was always very grateful for working with the Sisters of Mercy. Mrs. LaFleur was a member of La Sociedad De Damas De Cristo Rey and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court of St. Jude. She is preceded in death by her parents; Mr. Ricardo Castellan Perez and Adelina Meza Morton Perez; sister, Aida A. Perez Ramirez (Humberto); brother, Richard Morton Perez, Jr.; grandson, Patrick B. LaFleur; and nephew, Carlos D. Ramirez. She is survived by her son, Glenn David LaFleur, Sr. and wife Ruth LaFleur; nephews, Humberto H. Ramirez and wife Guadalupe; grandchildren, Glenn D. LaFleur, Jr., granddaughter, Marie B. LaFleur, and great grandson, Jonah P. LaFleur. A rosary will be recited Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Christ the King Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
