Bertha G. Rendon Bertha G. Rendon, 80, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2015 in Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Rendon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a devoted catholic at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Mrs. Rendon enjoyed making tamales for their annual Jamaica. Her dedication to her family was without limits instilling strong family values and keeping the family together. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernesto Rendon, Sr.; parents, Juan Garcia and Regina Garza de Garcia; brother, Armando Garcia. She is survived by her children, Bertha Araceli Rendon, Ernesto (Marta Veronica) Rendon, Indelia G. (Jose Javier) Espinoza; grandchildren, Ernie (Shelly) Rendon, Jessica (Ray) Makhani, Melissa Yvette Rendon, Valeria D. Rendon; great grandchildren, Jazzy Rendon, Julie Rendon and Ethan Makhani; brothers and sisters, Roberto Garcia, Belen Garcia, Pedro Garcia, Eliamar Vela, Juan Jose Garcia and numerous relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. The family would like to thank the Regent Care Center nurses and Staff. As well as, Dr. M. Click, Dr. Benson Huang, Dr. Carlos Cigarroa, and Dr. Leo Cigarroa for their continuous care and support. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
