Alfredo "Freddy" Sanchez, Jr.

Alfredo “Freddy” Sanchez, Jr. Alfredo “Freddy” Sanchez, Jr., 75, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015 in Laredo, Texas. Freddy was a veteran having served as a light weapons infantry man stationed in Fort Hood, TX from August 1963 until his honorable discharge in August 1969. During his years in the military he achieved the rank of Sergeant. For twenty years, Freddy continued his federal service as an Immigration and Naturalization Inspector retiring with rank of Supervisor. Mr. Sanchez is preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo Sanchez and Zulema M. Sanchez. He is survived by his wife, Delia E. Sanchez; children, Yvonne Rangel, Yvette (Gilberto, Jr.) Limon, Alfredo (Angelica) Sanchez, III, Jose A. Sanchez; grandchildren, Jessica (Henry) Martinez, Roberto L. Rangel, Jr., Lyzette (William) Shrout, Monica C. Limon, Alfredo Sanchez, IV, Antonio J. Sanchez; great grandchild, Henry Martinez, IV; brothers and sisters, Hilda Sanchez, Jesus M. (Yolanda) Sanchez, Nora (Roberto) Rodriguez, Sandra (Rafael) Morales, Alberto (Lesvia) Sanchez; companion, Consuelo Sifuentes; also surviving are numerous relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 8:45 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the City of Laredo Cemetery.
