Mary Lou Kirby

Mary Lou Kirby, 79, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2015 in Houston, Texas. Mrs. Kirby was a lifelong resident of Laredo. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Kirby is preceded in death by her husband Curtis L. Kirby; daughter, Carmen L. Kirby; parents, Carmen Solis-Deleza and Luis Deleza; brothers, Luis Deleza Jr., Genaro Deleza Sr., Augustin Deleza; sister, Carmen P. Crowley. She is survived by her son CAPT James (Linette) Kirby; daughters, Debra (Joseph) Kennedy, Pamela (Robbie) DeVane; grandsons, Anthony LaGrange, Joshuah LaGrange, James Kirby, and Robert Kirby. Mrs. Kirby is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Josefina Ducommun, Antonio (Cynthia) Deleza, and Antonino (Bertha Elena) Deleza. A rosary will be recited on Friday, January 1, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to St. Patrick Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
