Esteban Villarreal

Esteban Villarreal, 87, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Kindred Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio Villarreal and Apolonia Gonzalez; brothers, Encarnacion Villarreal, Benito Villarreal; son, Guadalupe Victor Villarreal; and grandson, Alejandro Rene Garcia. Mr. Villarreal is survived by his wife of 63 years, Maria Luisa Villarreal; children, Armando Esteban Villarreal, Jose Alberto Villarreal, Margarita Villarreal, and Luis Benito (Maria del Carmen) Villarreal. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A prayer service will be recited on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A chapel service will be held Monday, January 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Sam officiating. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
