Rosa Bautista On January 28, 2016, our beautiful mother, Rosa F. Bautista, age 69, was called to be with our Lord in heaven. Ms. Bautista dedicated 42 years of her life in the nursing profession, 25 of those years were at Mercy Hospital. She always took pride in her work as a nurse. Ms. Bautista was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She will forever be missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank all those that took time to care for her, special thank you to Dr. Luis Benavides and his staff, Bronze Star Ambulance, Siloe Home Health and Nurses on Wheels. She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan O. Bautista, Jr.; her parents, Felix and Rosa Flores; her brothers, Francisco Flores, Felipe Flores, Felix Flores and her sister, Gloria Flores. Ms. Bautista is survived by her children, Araceli (Romeo II) Lozano, Juan O. (Ericka) Bautista, III, Veronica (Esiquio Jr.) Espinoza, Arabella Bautista, Adrianna Bautista; grandchildren, Romeo and Jasmeen Kayla Lozano, Yesenia Marlene and Estefania Bautista, Emily Delilah Espinoza, Savannah Kaylyne, Arabella and Dallas Martinez; brothers and sisters, Fernando R. Flores, Federico (Linda) Flores, Marta (Miguel) Perez, Fermin (Sofia) Flores, Filiberto (Brenda) Flores and Gloria Diana Marriner. A rosary will be recited on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
