Maria de la Luz "Lucy" Flores Chapa

Maria de la Luz Flores Chapa, 61, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. Mrs. Flores Chapa was the owner of Fantasy Daycare. Mrs. Flores Chapa is preceded in death by her parents, Romulo and Ramona Chapa; brothers, Abel and Elio Chapa; sisters, Irma Madrigal, and Obdulia Chapa. She is survived by her husband, Amaniel Adan Flores; daughters, Marilu (Leonardo) Garza, and Maribel (Martin) Colchado; son, Amaniel Adan (Nelly Yesenia) Flores Jr. ;siblings, Amelia (Oscar Francisco) Garza, Julio (Julia) Chapa, Zaragoza Chapa, and Rene Chapa. Mrs. Flores Chapa is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends. A vigil will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 8:45 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to St. John Neumann Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
