Rosita Uribe

Rosita Uribe, 102, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016, in Laredo, Texas. Ms. Uribe is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus Maria Uribe and Angela Vergara of San Ygnacio and sister, Angela Isabel (Hermilo) Uribe. She is survived by her nieces, Angela Uribe (Vladimir) Checchin, Juanita Uribe (Carlos) Kirkpatrick; grandniece, Maristella Checchin (Maurilio) Rodriguez; grand nephews, Marc ( Michelle) Checchin, Carlos Kirkpatrick, and Luis Kirkpatrick. Ms. Uribe is also survived by other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Monday, April 25, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. with Msgr. Harris officiating, in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Nuestra Señora del Refugio Catholic Church in San Ygnacio, Texas. A mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be, Vladimir Checchin, Marc Checchin, Carlos Kirkpatrick, Maurilio Rodriguez, Marc Rodriguez, and James Kirkpatrick. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Luis Kirkpatrick, Carlos Kirkpatrick Sr., and Carlos Vergara. Interment will follow at the Uribe Cemetery in San Ygnacio, Texas.
