Daniel Flores Jr.

Daniel Flores, Jr., 78, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016 in Laredo, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Flores, Sr. and Simona Alicia Flores; sisters, Margarita F. Nutt, Diamantina F. Peña and Delia F. Pennock. Mr. Flores is survived by his wife, Lyndal S. Flores; children, Monica F. (Peter) Dunn, Daniel (Jean) Flores, III, Samuel D. (Clare) Flores, Aliza Flores (Victor) Oliveros, Isabel F. (David) Stellema; 17 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brothers, Apolonio (Mary) Flores, Antonio (Betty) Flores, Leo (Patsy) Flores, Fernando Flores; brother in law, Richard Pennock and numerous relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 9:45 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to St. John Neumann Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets for a scholarship to be established in his name. Arrangements are under the direction of Hillside Funeral Home, 310 Hillside Road.
