Zenon Chapa Zenon Chapa, 88, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016 in Laredo, Texas. Mr. Chapa is preceded in death by his daughter, Nellie Borjas; grandson, Jonathan Saul Martinez; brothers, Manuel Chapa, Amadeo Chapa, Erasmo Chapa; sisters, Clemen Castillo and Cila Vara. He is survived by his wife, Anita G. Chapa; children, Anita (Mauro)Berlanga, Roberto Z. (Yolanda)Chapa, Noemi (Ricardo Leyva)Berlanga, Grace (Francisco J.) Berlanga, Sandra (Saul) Martinez, Enrique (Christina) Chapa; 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Rafaela Chapa, Piedad Martinez, Dora (Arturo) Galvan and Bertha Chapa. Also surviving are nieces, nephews and numerous relatives and friends. A prayer service will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A chapel service will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the City of Laredo Cemetery.
