Ambrosio De La Garza, Jr. December 2, 1944 June 8, 2016 Ambrosio De La Garza, Jr., 71, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. De La Garza is preceded in death by his parents, Ambrosio De La Garza, Sr., and Olivia De La Garza; sister, Adriana Gutierrez. He is survived by his wife, Olivia De La Garza; children, Daniel (Claudia) De La Garza, Alfonso (Sandra) De La Garza, Samuel (Noraida) De La Garza, and Ambrose Smith; siblings, Veronica (Jerry) Espinoza, and David (Jennifer) De La Garza. Mr. De La Garza is also survived by his granddaughter, Allison De La Garza, 7 grandchildren, 2 great- grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held on Monday, June 13, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers will be, Daniel De La Garza, Alfonso De La Garza, Samuel De La Garza, David De La Garza, Rene Peña, and Gary Gray. Honorary Pallbearer: Carlos Garza Interment will follow in the family plot of the City of Laredo Cemetery.
