Evangelina M. Trejo Evangelina M. Trejo, 87, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016 in Laredo, Texas. She was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Patrick Catholic Church and was a member of the Guadalupanas. She was also a Cursillista and a seamstress for over 70 years, specializing in wedding gowns. Mrs. Trejo was also an excellent cook. She is preceded in death by her parents, Filiberto and Guadalupe Martinez; siblings, Amparo Alvarez, Belia Gonzalez, Hector Martinez, Arturo Martinez, and Oscar Lauro Martinez. Mrs. Trejo is survived by her children, Ricardo (Gracie) Rangel, Jr., San Juanita (Edmundo) Martinez, Anita (Alfredo) Gonzalez; grandchildren, Freddy (Manisha) Gonzalez, Eddie Rangel, Oscar L. Martinez, Christina A. Gonzalez, Jackie A. Gonzalez; siblings, Heriberto (Bertha) Martinez, Blanca Padilla, Zulema Campero, Rosita Garza, Bertha Guerra, Jose Luis Martinez; care providers, Sonia Garcia and Martina Estrada as well as numerous relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to St. Patrick Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
