Jose M. Ruiz, 85, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2016, in Laredo, Texas. Mr.Ruiz is preceded in death by: his wife, Beatriz Villarreal Ruiz; parents, Leopoldo and Manuela R. Ruiz; grandmother, Agnes Gregory and brother, Jorge R. Esparza. He is survived by his sons, Jose M. Ruiz Jr., David Ruiz (Lorena Gould); grandchildren, Beatriz (Edward) Thibeault, Vanessa Ruiz, Amy Nicole Ruiz; siblings, Leopoldo Ruiz Jr. (Belia+), Rosario A. Ruiz, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. A rosary will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the City of Laredo Cemetery.
