Raquel G. Garcia, 75, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017, in Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Garcia is preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Javier Garcia; parents, Roque Gonzalez and Hortencia P. Gonzalez; son, Francisco Javier Garcia, Jr. She is survived by her children, Roberto (Herlinda) Garcia, Ricardo (Denise) Garcia, Roxanne Garcia, and Rene Garcia; brothers, Alfredo (Mercedes) Gonzalez, and Roque (Josefina) Gonzalez. Mrs. Garcia is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited, Monday, February 20, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
