Carmen Harrington Ruiz Carmen Harrington Ruiz, 91, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2017 in Laredo, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Vito A. Ruiz; parents, Elija Harrington and Hermila Sotelo Harrington; siblings, Nena Fout, Mary Louise Ramon, Estela Virjan, Harry Harrington and Lily Flores. Mrs. Ruiz is survived by her son, Dr. Vito (Antonieta) Ruiz; daughter, Melita (Ruben) Gonzalez; son, Glenn (Angela) Ruiz; granddaughter, Trianna (Robert) Johnson; grandson, Tristan Gonzalez; granddaughter, Alexzandra Gonzalez; grandsons, Vito Manuel Ruiz, Dr. Marco Antonio Ruiz, Glenn Ruiz, Jr., Benjamin Ruiz; granddaughter, Cloe Ruiz; great-grandson, Robert “Bobby” Johnson. She leaves behind a wide circle of family and friends. Some of which are Rosa Maria Swisher, Noemi Saldaña, Olga Hovel, Lily Perez, and Kike Ramon. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. All attending are asked to please meet at the church. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
