Olga Ramon De Los Santos

Ademina Olga Ramon De Los Santos, 92, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. Olga was born on September 25, 1924 in Laredo, TX. She married her love, Francisco “Frank” Jose De Los Santos, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on December 30, 1951. She was a devoted loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, better known as “GG Nana”. Olga retired from Southwestern Bell on May 17, 1981 after 35 years of service to enjoy her grand and great-grandchildren. She was a Life-time member of the Elysian Social Club and enjoyed her weekly gathering with the other “Golden Girls” for bunco or other bean games, as well as celebrating with others in the “Birthday Club”. She was a volunteer of the Laredo Mercy Hospital Auxiliary, member of the Catholic Daughters and was a member of the Guadalupanas way back. She was a devout catholic and parishioner of St. Patrick Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Librada Ramon; her loving husband, Frank De Los Santos; siblings, twins Osvaldo and Olivia Ramon, Oswaldo Ramon, Humberto Martinez, and Oralia Ramon Martinez; brother-in-law, Jose Roque Martinez. She is survived by her children, Frank (Vickie) De Los Santos Jr., Olga Sara De Los Santos, Gerardo (Leslie) De Los Santos, Norma (Ricardo “Cuate”) Santos and Jorge Carlos (Adriana) De Los Santos; grandchildren, Kristelle (Eliud) Garcia, Andrea (Carlo) Rogerio, Gerardo Javier De Los Santos Jr., Jose Luis Diaz, Leanee De Los Santos, Amanda Santos, Francisco Emmanuel De Los Santos III, Selika DeLos Santos, Jorge Carlos De Los Santos Jr., Jose Luis Diaz and Alexandra Lopez; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Eva Rogerio, Sophia and Stella Garcia, Joshua, Aidan, Victoria and Christian Lopez, Gabriel, Andrew and Matthew Diaz and many other nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends. A special thanks to Argelia Gomez, Sandra Perez, and Magda Gonzalez who cared for our loving mother. To Dr. Haber and his staff, Doctors Hospital’s 4th Floor Staff, Dr. Tomas Garcia as well as other medical staff and Bronze Star Service. Many thanks for the wonderful care provided by Global and N.S.C.L Home Health and Nurses on Wheels Hospice and their chaplain; and Father Hector Flores. A rosary will be recited on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to St. Patrick Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
