Azael C. Gonzalez, 76, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 in Laredo, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Adan Gonzalez Sr. and Maria S. Gonzalez; son, Gabriel Gonzalez. Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his wife Maria Cruz Gonzalez; children, Eliza Gonzalez, Azael Gonzalez Jr., Claudia Gonzalez (Roberto Jr.) Liendo, Norma Gonzalez (Rudolfo) Ramirez, Azbel (Cynthia) Gonzalez, Alejandro (Heather) Acevedo; sister, Idalia (John) McKelvey. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren, other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday, May 15, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
