Alfonso Rodriguez, 77, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, in Laredo, Texas. Mr. Rodriguez was the owner of the company, A. Rodriguez & Sons Trucking for the past 58 years. Mr. Rodríguez is preceded in death by his parents, Emilio and Adela R. Rodríguez; siblings, Cipriano Rodriguez, Estela R. Gutiérrez, Genaro Rodriguez, Ernesto Rodríguez, Adela Rodriguez, Jose Carlos Rodriguez, Emilio Rodríguez; son-in-law, Juan Vela. He is survived by his beloved wife Enedina Rodríguez; children, Alfonso (Susana) Rodriguez Jr., Antonio Rodriguez, Nora Maria Alicia (Juan+) Vela, Thelma (Juan Carlos) Reyes, Emilio (Lydia) Rodríguez, and Enedina (Adan) Salinas. Mr. Rodriguez is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. A chapel service will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. by Pastor Samuel Lopez in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the family plot in the City of Laredo Cemetery.
