Dyla Gizelle Licon

Dyla Gizelle Licon, 18 passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017 in Laredo, Texas. Dyla graduated from LBJ High School and was getting ready to attend UTSA in San Antonio, Texas. She left her mark in this world with her talent of singing and intelligence within her life. Dyla’s presence may no longer be in existence within our daily lives but, the memories she left behind will never be forgotten. Dyla Gizelle Licon is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Juan Glafiro Licon and great-grandmother, Valentina Hernandez. She is survived by her mother, Lizette Perez; father, Raul Ventura Jr.; brother, Raul Ventura III.; grandparents, Carmen and Jose Luis Perez, Demetria Licon, Consuelo Ventura and Raul Ventura. Dyla is also survived by cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 8:15 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Nuestra Sra. Del Rosario Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
