Evangelia R. Gonzalez, 79, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 in Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Gonzalez is preceded in death by her husband, Jose O Gonzalez Jr.; parents, Amando and Refugio Ramirez. She is survived by her daughter, Ana Luisa Gonzalez; grandchildren, Maegan Nicole Esparza, Vanessa Jaclyn Esparza, Agustin Esparza III, and Nathan Christian Gonzalez; siblings, Ernestina (Frank) Santos, Carolina (Alberto†) Macouzet; sisters in law, Mary (Ruben) Puig and Amelia Gonzalez. Mrs. Gonzalez is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 7:45 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Divine Mercy Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the City of Laredo Cemetery.
