Eloise Hodges

Eloise Hodges, 50, loving mother, sister, and friend, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017. All who knew her remember her fire and grace evident in heart and soul. She was strong. A “warrior” as she often called herself, and that she was. She lived her life as she wanted. She will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Javier Diaz, dearest father Lee Hodges, and loving sister Carol Celeste Hodges Rodriguez. Eloise is survived by her beloved children, Cindy Celeste (David) Romero, Lizette Diaz, Mario Diaz, mother; sisters Cecilia, Rosemary, Denise, Jessica Fontenot; brothers Jesus (Chuy) Bear, Glenn Martinez, and Johnny Fontenot. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. A visitation and services will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. Services will conclude after visitation.
