Alberto Gerardo Liendo

Alberto Gerardo Liendo, 62, entered into eternal rest on May 30, 2025, in Dallas, Texas.

Alberto affectionately know as “El Cuate”, was born on July 28, 1962 to parents: Alfonso Tomas and Carmen Teniente Liendo in Laredo, Texas.

Alberto is preceded in death by his great-nephews: Nico Howlett and Luca Adan Liendo; paternal grandparents: Alfondo D. (Andre G.) Liendo; maternal grandparents: Antonio (Cruz) Teniente, as well as by aunts, uncles, cousins in the Liendo and Teniente families.

He is survived by his parents: Alfonso T. and Carmen T. Liendo; siblings: Alfonso T. Liendo III, his twin brother Roberto A. Liendo, Leticia G. Newbury, Cordelia M. Liendo, Cruz Carmen (Oscar) Mead, Arturo M. Liendo, Jose Luis Liendo, Ricardo (Anabel) Liendo; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Alberto was a man of God, loving, caring, and funny. Cuate never met a stranger. He will be dearly missed.

The family will celebrate his life on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 4 to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals and Cremations, where a Liturgy of the Word will commence at 7 pm.

All services will conclude in the chapel for a cremation to follow at a later date.
