Alfredo Joseph Herbst, 71, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 in Laredo, Texas. Mr. Herbst  is survived by his beloved  wife of 45 years,  Irma Herbst; sons, Alfred Joseph (Teresa) Herbst Jr., Alexander Herbst, and Abraham Frances (Angie) Herbst; siblings, Edward (Myrna) Herbst, Rose Mary (Jim) Gear, and Josephine (Tony) Garcia. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by Laughlin Air Force Base Honor Guard and American Legion Post. 59 Honor Guard.
