Alicia "Monita" B. Hilario

Alicia B. Hilario, 95, entered into eternal peace to be with our Lord on Thursday, February 8, 2018 in Laredo, Texas. She was self-employer owner of Monita’s Grocery for 63 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Luis Hilario; father, Manuel Bonugli; mother, Marcelina Flores Martel; daughter, Alicia H. Hilario; brothers, Francisco Vasquez, Manuel Bonugli, Pablo Vasquez, and Alejandro Vasquez; sister, Hilda Vasquez. Ms. Alicia B. Hilario left behind to cherish her memory her children, Maria (Santana) Polendo, Luis (Maria Elena) Hilario, Jose Martin (Linda) Hilario, Rolando Alberto (Esther) Hilario, and Gloria Rosalinda Newsome; siblings, Inocencio (Francisco) Vasquez, Virginia Vasquez, Julio Vasquez, Teresa Vasquez, Ana Candia, and Eva Salinas.; grandchildren, Pamela J. Polendo, Priscilla J. Polendo, Kristie M. Hilario, Norma A. (Dr. Omar) Benavides, Yvette Hilario, Luis Danny Hilario, Jose Hilario, Mary E. Hilario, Michelle Hilario, Rolando Hilario Jr., Christine Mujica; great-grandchildren, Ali Marie Elkhatib, Gary E. Elkhatib, Leonides Elkhatib, Jacob, Averie, Valerie J., Damian Hilario, Yzabella Hilario, and Carlos Alberto Morales. She is also survived by other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the City of Laredo Cemetery.
