Mrs. Amalia Diaz, 58, was called to be united with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, September 15, 2022 in Laredo, Texas. We will forever hold her memory alive in our hearts and minds, that although our hearts are hurting by this loss, we rejoice that she is now resting in peace with God our Father in Heaven.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Emiliano and Francisca Martinez.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband: Victor Hugo Diaz Sr.; children: Victor Hugo (Leticia Alicia) Diaz Jr., Stephanie Diaz, Francisco Enrique (Andrea Carolina Garma) Diaz; grandchildren: Isabela Diaz, Victor Hugo Diaz III, Galilea Diaz; siblings: Guadalupe Martinez, Tomas Martinez, Leonor Martinez, Maria Martinez, Laura Martinez, San Juana Martinez, Emiliano Martinez Jr., Mercedes Garcia, Jorge Martinez, Estela Martinez, and Raquel Pedraza, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, September 18, 2022 from 5 until 9 pm at Hillside Funerals and Cremations, 310 Hillside Rd. A Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be recited at 7 pm. with Deacon Alberto Brizuela.

Funeral procession will depart the funeral chapel at 2:45 pm to St. John Neumann Catholic Church for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 3 p.m.

All services will conclude at the church to proceed to a cremation at a later date.
