Angelita Ramirez Treviño, age 92, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 30, 2026, in Laredo, Texas, surrounded by the enduring love of her family.

Born into a life that would come to be defined by devotion, resilience, and quiet strength, Angelita was a woman whose presence brought comfort and warmth to all who knew her. She lived through nearly a century of change, meeting each chapter with grace, wisdom, and an unwavering faith that guided her steps.

Angelita was the heart of her family and her home was a place of gathering, where laughter was abundant, traditions were honored, and everyone was made to feel welcome. She expressed her love not only in words, but in the meals she prepared, the stories she shared, and the gentle care she gave so freely.

Those who knew Angelita will remember her for her kindness, her humility, and her deep sense of compassion. She had a way of making others feel seen and valued, offering encouragement in times of need and celebrating life’s joys, both big and small.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Antonio Treviño; and her siblings, Antoino Ramirez, Joaquin Ramirez Jr., Reynaldo Ramirez, Francisco Ramirez, and Juan Ramirez.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving daughter, Aleida Treviño; her sisters, Marciana Minerva Benavides, Blanca Ramirez, and Maria Del Fina (Jim) Taylor; and her brothers, Benito Ramirez and Rodolfo Ramirez. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the values she instilled, and the love she leaves behind. Though she is no longer physically present, her spirit will remain a guiding light for her family and all who were blessed to know her.

Angelita will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of those who loved her.

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026, at Hillside Funerals and Cremations from 5 PM to 9 PM. A rosary will be recited at 7 PM.

Funeral services will continue on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Hillside Funerals and Cremations starting at 7 AM. A procession will depart the funeral home at 8:30 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at San Luis Rey Catholic Church at 9 AM.

Interment will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Antonio Treviño.
