Antonio Corona, 89, was called by the Lord on August 11, 2026.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Francisca Corona; his parents, Leobigildo Corona Salas and Delfina Valdez Overa; and his siblings, Zeneido Corona, Rodolfo Corona, Esperanza Corona, and Rosario Corona.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Bertha Corona (Ghulam Lakhani), Candelario Tijerina (Dulce), Antonio Corona Jr. (Laura), Eduardo Corona (Laura), and Sergio Corona (Nancy); his grandchildren, Alicia Lakhani, Alissa Tijerina, Acada Tijerina, Angel Tijerina, Priscilla Corona, Christian Corona, Adrian Corona, Amber Corona, Itzel Corona, and Mirka Palacios (Joshua); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Ghulam Lakhani, Candelario Tijerina, Antonio Corona Jr., Eduardo Corona, Sergio Corona, Christian Corona, and Adrian Corona.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, 310 W. Hillside Rd., Laredo, Texas 78041. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m.
Visitation will continue on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. A Funeral Service will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
The funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. for the City Cemetery, where a Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m.
