On December 9, 2022, our beloved mother, Armandina "Mandy" Lopez left our hearts to go with our dear lord Jesus Christ.
She will always be in our memory as a wonderful dancer, a fantastic cook, baker, and above all, she loved all her family beyond measure. She left us unexpectedly but graced us with 89 wonderful years of her life. Her siblings, children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews will miss her presence greatly. We will always love you, Mom.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfredo Benavides Sr & Concepcion Benavides, siblings: Minerva Sandoval (Calixto) & Irene Ramirez (Rene), sister in law, Rosario "Chacha" Benavides, & grandson, Benjamin Lopez.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Maria Yolanda Cena (Javier), Heriberto "Eddie" Lopez (Irma), Priscilla Valdez (Enrique), Carlos Alfredo Lopez (Katherine), Marie "Malena" Rodriguez (+Ramiro), & Fernando Lopez (Cynthia), 15 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, sister, Irma Campero, brother, Alfredo Benavides Jr. (Judith), nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to her very special caregivers Adela, Eva, Melissa, & Candy for the excellent care given to Ms. Lopez. In addition, Dr. Milton Haber and staff and Martinez Pharmacy and staff for their wonderful care for our mother
