Arturo Castillo

Mr. Arturo Castillo, 66, entered into the presence of God on July 17, 2024, in Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Sylvia R. Castillo; parents: Raymundo and Maria Castillo; several siblings and other extend family members.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his children: Arturo (Veronica) Castillo Jr., Bertha Sylvia (Esteban) Saldaña, Luis Alberto (Crystal Reyes) Castillo, Alberto Luis (Rosa Elena) Castillo, Brenda Yvette (Gilbert) Batres; grandchildren: Arturo Alexis Castillo, Kimberly A. Castillo, Javier Castillo, Stacy Saldaña, Elena Saldaña, Kenneth O. Castillo, Swinda N. Castillo, Zaida N. Castillo, Jayden Z. Castillo, Melanie I. Castillo, Denise A. Castillo, Victoria D. Castillo, Alberto T. Castillo, Bianca S. Batres, Gilbert Batres Jr., Gareth Batres; great-grandchildren: Arturo Castillo Jr., Emma Castillo, Pedro Altamirano, and Alexandra Altamirano; siblings: Linda Castillo, Maria Estela Castillo, Abraham (Roxana) Castillo, Rosa Castillo, Manuela Castillo, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, where a Rosary will be offered at 7 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 8:30 am at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. The funeral procession will depart the funeral chapel at 8 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest with alongside his beloved wife, Sylvia.
