Atilano Vela Jr.

Atilano Vela Jr., 74, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2019, in Manor, Texas. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Norma Edna Vela; daughters, Adriana and Diana Vela.Mr. Vela is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Santos-Vela; brothers, Guadalupe Vela, and Jorge Vela; nephew; Oscar Vela Jr. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited Friday, August 2, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home chapel.  A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019, at 9:45 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10:15 a.m. Interment will follow to the Veteran Section of the City of Laredo Cemetery.
