Aurora G. Cavazos, 104, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, in Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eulalio and Josefa Garza; husband, Oscar Cavazos; children, Oscar (Emma+) Cavazos, Jr. and Daniel Cavazos; daughter, Elia (Samuel+) Sandoval; siblings, Estela Garza Olivares, Panchita Garza Cardenas, Bertha Garza Flores, and Oscar (Berta) Garza; and grandson, Daniel Cavazos, Jr.

Left to cherish her memory is his son Mario (Siria) Cavazos; grandchildren, Oscar (Gracie) Cavazos III, Adriana (Aldo T.) Rodriguez, Mario (Michelle) Cavazos, Luis Alberto Cavazos, David Cavazos, Leonor Cavazos, Nathan Cavazos; great-grandchildren, Chrissy K. Cavazos, Oscar Cavazos IV, Elma E. (Isaias) Jasso, Tracy S. Rodriguez, Susan Cavazos, and Mario Cavazos III. She is also survived by her great-great-granddaughter, Emma Grace Cavazos; sisters, Rebecca (Francisco+) Leon, and Zulema (Fernando+) De Llano; daughter-in-law, Mary Cavazos; brother-in-law, Jimmy Flores, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A rosary will be recited on Monday, August 23, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow to the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
