Aurora P. Reyna

Aurora P. Reyna, 80, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 4, 2020, in Laredo, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Reyna was born on March 3, 1940 in Anahuac, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Mrs. Reyna enjoyed passing time with her family and was considered the “glue” that kept her family together. Mrs. Reyna is preceded in death by her loving husband, Eloy Reyna; daughter Maria Leticia Reyna; parents, Tomas Perez and Timotea Garcia; and great-granddaughter, Chelsea Esquivel. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Norma Reyna, Idalia (Jorge) Rangel, Angelica (Gustavo) Gonzalez, Veronica Reyna, Zoila Reyna, Myrna (Martin) Tienda, and Cynthia (Edgar) Galvan; sisters, Guadalupe Gonzalez and Raquel Perez Garcia; 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Reyna is also survived by nieces, nephews, numerous relatives and friends. The family would like to thank all caregivers, Nurses On Wheels, and doctors that cared for Mrs. Reyna. A rosary will be recited on Monday, June 8, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow to the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
