Belia R. Soulas

Belia R. Soulas, 89, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 21, 2020, in Laredo, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. Belia R. Soulas was comforted by her family’s love, her faith in god and her joy of playing piano. Belia was always fond of the memories of playing piano at Templo Cristiano Asambleas de Dios Church with her sister, Ofelia Ibarra. Mrs. Soulas was born on October 19, 1930 in Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Soulas is preceded in death by her parents, Felix Rodriguez and Alejandrina Rodriguez; 3 brothers and 2 sisters, loving husband, Moises M. Soulas Sr. Left to cherish her memory are her children; Moises M. (Betty) Soulas Jr, Ramiro S. (Esther) Soulas, and Juan A. Soulas; grandchildren, Michael Soulas, Melissa Soulas, Tony Soulas, Ramiro S. Soulas Jr, and Vincent Soulas, and 2 great grandchildren, Tiana Soulas and Kierstin Soulas. Mrs. Soulas is also survived by her sister Celia (Cleofas) Martinez, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A prayer will be recited on Monday, May 25, 2020 at 7:00 pm in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. from the Hillside Funeral Home to the City of Laredo Cemetery. A prayer service will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow to the family plot of the City of Laredo Cemetery.
