Carmen N. Gonzalez, 88, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 in Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by her husband Manuel R. Gonzalez; children, John M. (Trinidad) Gonzalez, Carmen Gallegos, Gloria (Richard) Baez, Manuel Gonzalez Jr., Oscar (Theresa) Gonzalez, Sergio N. (Sonia) Gonzalez, Daniel Gonzalez, and Ernesto N. (Celia Lopez) Gonzalez. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A vigil will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 8:45 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to St. John Neumann Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the City of Laredo Cemetery.
