It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Concepcion M. Lopez, affectionately known as Maria Concepcion Moreno Lopez, who left us on December 25, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on December 8, 1953, in Mexico, Concepcion lived a life filled with love, devotion, and compassion.
Concepcion was a beloved caregiver whose warm and nurturing spirit touched the lives of many. Her dedication to others was unwavering, and she found joy in providing support and comfort to those she cared for in her role within the home health industry. She was a proud member of the Hispanic community, embracing her Mexican heritage with grace and pride.
Mrs. Lopez is preceded in death by her loving husband, Dionicio Lopez; parents, Lorenzo Moreno and Columba Martinez; and siblings, Lorenza Moreno, Margarito Moreno, and Gerardo Silva. She is survived by her loving daughter, Aide Moreno (Armando Segovia); granddaughters, Vanessa Segovia, Elizabeth Segovia, and Samantha Segovia; great-grandchildren, Ximena Hernandez, Artemis Segovia, and Eden Segovia; siblings, Matias Moreno, Eliazar Silva, Francisco Silva, Joel Silva, Mercedes Silva, Silvia Silva, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Their lives will forever be enriched by her kindness and the memories they shared.
In celebration of Concepcion's life, family and friends will gather for a series of services to honor her memory. A Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be held on January 2, 2026, at 7:00 PM, providing an opportunity for reflection and remembrance. A public viewing will take place earlier that same day from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
The Mass in her honor will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on January 3, 2026, at 9:00 AM, followed by a graveside service at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest in peace.
Concepcion's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her in return. May she rest in eternal peace.
