Dionicio Alvarado

Dionicio Alvarado, 85, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in Laredo, Texas. He was born on September 15, 1940 in Laredo, Texas, and resided here his whole life.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Francisca Alvarado; many brothers and sisters whom he now joins.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years of marriage, Erlinda Alvarado; children: Dionicio M. (Mercedes) Alvarado, Juan A. (Phillip) Alvarado, Cynthia (Louis Mendiola) Alvarado-Mendiola, David Alvarado; grandchildren: Anissa M. Casey, David D. Alvarado, Arthur Louis Mendiola, Yuliahnna Seleste Mendiola; great-grandchildren: Isabella Ava-Maria Casey, Emily Madison-Grace Casey, as well as numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 10 am to 1 pm at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, where a Liturgy of the Word and Rosary will commence at 12 noon.
