Donna Marie Botello

Donna Marie Botello, 59, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2019, in Laredo, Texas. Donna was a loving wife and a perfect mother, aunt, daughter, and sister. She worked at Alma A. Pierce 34 years as a pre-K through 2nd grade teacher. She loved children with all her heart. She also loved working with her hands, and to create beautiful crafts. Every year she made a special mass for the Virgen de Guadalupe. She was loved by her entire family. She is preceded in death by her father, Henry Martin Miller, and her sister, Irma Miller Vasquez.Ms. Botello is survived by her husband, Francisco Javier Botello Sr.; son, Francisco Javier Botello Jr.; mother, Irma C. Miller; siblings, Henry (Christina) Miller, and Jeanette (Guiribaldo) Saldivar. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Monday, June 10, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home chapel.  A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at 8:00 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. A cremation will be held at a later date.
