Mrs. Elizabeth M. Velasquez, 92, entered into the company of the angels and saints in the Heavenly Kingdom, having been faithfully surrounded by her loving and caring family. 

She is preceded in death by her husband: Rodolfo "Rudy" Velasquez; parents: William and Julia McCoy; siblings: Nancy Garibay, Rose Alice McCoy; maternal grandmother: Amadita Hernandez.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her beloved children: Rudy (Beatriz) Velasquez Jr., Randy Velasquez, Raquel (Ricardo) Salinas, Ramiro Velasquez, Rosa Elva Velasquez, Jerry Velasquez; grandchildren: Rudy Velasquez III, Rochelle Velasquez, Rick (Melanie) Salinas Jr., Keith Salinas, Kevin Salinas, Jackie Rodriguez, Rosalynn (Raul) Gonzalez, RJ (Josie) Velasquez; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings: Henry McCoy, Arthur (Grace) McCoy, Cynthia (Bell) Lingner, Evelynn Galbraith, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, October 2, 2023, from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be held at 7 pm.

Funeral procession will depart the chapel at 11:20 am to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 12 noon.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband, Rudy.

Pallbearers will be: Rick Salinas Jr., Keith Salinas, Kevin Salinas, RJ Velasquez, Ramiro Velasquez, and Randy Velasquez.
